The native Scanner extracts label text on the device and organizes supported details for review. Missing or incorrect text can still occur.

Edit, enter, or copy
Correct detected fields, enter equipment details manually when needed, and copy a compact equipment summary for your own workflow.

Choose whether to use it in Chat
Attach the reviewed equipment context only when it is useful. The scan is not automatically sent to Chat or searched.

Equipment labels vary. The Scanner can organize supported fields when text is present and detected, but no label is expected to provide every item.

Attach only when useful
Choose whether to attach reviewed equipment context to Chat. Normal later Chat use remains subject to the normal AI usage policy for your account.
Technician verification
What the Scanner does not replace.
The Scanner is a capture and review tool for trained HVAC/R users. It does not replace measurements, safe procedures, codes, manufacturer documentation, licensing requirements, or technician judgment.
- Glare, poor lighting, label damage, small type, unusual layouts, and OCR ambiguity can produce missing or incorrect text.
- Compare every detected value with the physical equipment label and current manufacturer documentation before using it.
- Scanning does not diagnose the unit, and no scan-accuracy percentage is claimed.
- The Scanner does not claim universal or all-brand compatibility, and it is not endorsed by equipment manufacturers.
- There is no barcode or QR camera claim, automatic manual lookup, warranty lookup, or product registration workflow.
- The Scanner does not automatically decode serial numbers or search the scanned equipment.
