Use of the app
HVAC/R AI Pro provides HVAC and refrigeration troubleshooting support, job-context organization, estimate support, airflow and duct workflow support, and related tools for trained HVAC/R professionals, technicians, apprentices working under supervision, and other qualified trade users. You must use the app lawfully, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable rules, codes, manufacturer instructions, and field conditions.
Accounts and access
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity under your account. The web dashboard is intended for eligible users whose access is connected to their account and subscription status.
Subscriptions and payment
Mobile subscriptions are currently handled through the App Store. Available plans, prices, renewal terms, and any 3-day free trial are shown in the App Store purchase flow. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage cancellation and renewal through your Apple ID subscriptions and App Store account settings. HVAC/R AI Pro cannot issue App Store refunds directly; refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies and applicable law. Billing is handled by Apple, and Apple's terms take precedence where applicable.
AI guidance and professional judgment
AI-generated recommendations, estimates, summaries, and troubleshooting suggestions are informational. Estimate and pricing outputs are not binding quotes, invoices, warranties, or guarantees of final job cost. HVAC/R AI Pro does not provide legal, financial, engineering, or other licensed professional advice. The app is not a substitute for professional judgment, licensing requirements, safety procedures, local codes, equipment manuals, or on-site diagnosis. You should not rely solely on the service for decision-making. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them in the field. This includes, without limitation, any damage to equipment, property, or injury resulting from installation, repair, or diagnostic decisions made using the service.
No emergency use
Do not use HVAC/R AI Pro as your only source of guidance for emergency, hazardous, life-safety, electrical, combustion, refrigerant, pressure, or other high-risk situations. Follow applicable safety procedures and contact qualified emergency, utility, manufacturer, or supervisory resources when needed.
User conduct
You agree not to upload illegal, harmful, offensive, infringing, or unsafe content; interfere with app operation or security; attempt unauthorized access to another user's data; abuse usage limits; reverse engineer protected features; violate export laws or sanctions; or use the service in a way that violates applicable law. We may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts for excessive or abusive usage.
Intellectual property
HVAC/R AI Pro, including its name, branding, interface, workflows, text, software, and related materials, is owned by HVAC/R AI Pro or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on compatible devices and may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from the service without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
HVAC/R AI Pro is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent allowed by law. You assume all risk associated with the use of the service and any actions taken based on its outputs. HVAC/R AI Pro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, field decisions, unavailable service, or third-party platform issues. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of HVAC/R AI Pro for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid by the user to HVAC/R AI Pro in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HVAC/R AI Pro from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your reliance on AI-generated outputs, or your installation, repair, diagnostic, or field decisions.
Availability and third-party services
The service may be unavailable, delayed, or contain errors due to technical, network, hosting, AI-provider, App Store, Firebase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, or other third-party issues. HVAC/R AI Pro is not responsible for failures, errors, outages, delays, data handling, billing actions, or other actions of third-party services.
Changes, termination, and governing law
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new update date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or applicable law. These Terms are intended for users in the United States and are governed by applicable United States law and the laws of Alabama unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Alabama unless mandatory law requires a different forum.
